Good food, fast service friendly atmosphere

I tried this place because of the reviews. Great presentation, I honestly couldn't wait to eat. The flavors were good. I got the firecracker chicken with spicy ahi and fried rice. While the flavor/sauce was nice, the chicken was incredibly dry and chewy. The fried rice was delicious.

Don't be fooled by the rough look of this place, the food is AMAZING! A great local fare you don't want to miss! Firecracker Chicken was amazing!

The best Teriyaki chicken I've ever had. My wife got the Firecracker chicken and the crunch that they achieved on the chicken was literally impressive. Huge portion of fried rice as a side dish, delicious and you get to pick your fried rice. If you're reading this PLEASE come here, you've found your economic and delicious Hawaii food spot look no further.

One of my fave eateries. Fried Pork Chops with Mushrooms and Onions, Guava Smoked Pork, Ahi Belly, Ahi Limu Poke Salad and Fried Calamari are my favorites! But everything here is tasty and portions are generous. You can make your own combo with two different entrees. Ahi Belly takes about 20 minutes to prepare so it's best to call ahead or expect to wait...but it's definitely worth the extra time!

Wow must try this place it a little place, but the food!!!! all I have to say is my my my!!!! Good plate lunch at such a good price. Staff are so friendly and great customer service.

Always have a great food, costumer service are on point. Highly recommend for local food! My favorite is dynamite shrimp, kiawe steak, and lup cheong rice.

First off, it’s a family restaurant which is amazing! Customer Service is awesome! They are so nice even when the restaurant is packed with people and the phone keeps ringing. The best thing to try is the FIRECRACKER CHICKEN! The wait time may be a while especially when they are busy but it’s worth it!

If had 10 stars this would be it. Plate lunch take out is winnas. Found this gem from recommendations from work friends. Been coming at least 3x a week. My favorite is the calamari, but the mixed plates (dons special) winnas. Steak is great and tender. Salads are super good. I can't eat too much salt, but some reason I can handle the food here which is a plus. Trying to try out everything on the menu, so far highly recommended. 👍

This is my first time to Hawaii. I've been searching for a specific type of restaurant all week. A restaurant with a certain taste and feel. And a place where the locals come to eat. I finally found it hours before heading back home. Thanks, Queen Street Cafe & Grill, for helping me finish my trip on a high note.

The best local food! I decided to come here after visiting Pearl Harbor. The customer service is excellent, family owned and friendly environment! Please don't hesitate to come here, you'll so love this food! Mahalo! 🤙

Been meaning to try this place for the longest time, but I'm hardly ever in this area during lunch. Finally had the chance and took it. Our timing was good because it got crowded fast. We were luckily able to get a seat (one of the 3 tables inside) and watch as the line consistently formed out the door.We got the Firecracker Chicken & Poke combo, and the Noodle & Kiawe Grilled Teriyaki Chicken combo. They actually set up a grill outside their restaurant to grill all their Kiawe Grilled meats. I like that you can add Poke to any of the dishes on their menu.Food was just ok. Was hoping for it to wow me a little more. The lines must mean there is something to it though so we'll be back again. I'm hoping if we try other items on the menu, we'll get more wow.

Been coming here awhile because of plate lunch voucher half off deal. Last Dec 2019/January 2020 there was an email glitch and next Covid. I returned end of July and was only allowed paid value. Customer service was always amazing up until this point. No one is an expert in covid so everyone is suffering together. An apology would have sufficed, not no can attitude. If I didn't redeem til after a fake expiration, I'm sure there were others...and Queen St Cafe were paid in advanced. Tasting vinegar now

Great place to go if you're hungry. Fish, chicken, beef, pork chops, mashed potatoes. Family owned, they are appreciative and friendly. You won't go just once.

If you like steak & shrimp tempura you'll will love this place. They grill the steak right outside on a BBQ grill. And they have hot & spicy dishes too. All local style cooking

Great place for people that want a taste of real local foods. My only issue would be the seating arrangement. Not a lot of space to sit down once all the seats are filled, the standing/waiting is basically the same as the standing in line space. So getting this food as takeout would be so much better

I cannot physically describe the level of satisfaction I have with this restaurant. Reasonably fast, inexplicably friendly, ridiculously delicious, outrageously affordable and preposterous portions. Found this place by chance with a coworker on a lunch break and paid $13 for a stacked container full of delectable offerings (steak, tempura shrimp and adobo fried rice to be exact) and couldn't eat even a fraction of it in one sitting. A second overstuffed dining experience and I've finally finished my lunch with an irresistible craving for more.I highly recommend this delightful cafe to anybody and everybody, and cannot thank them enough for a truly delightful and unexpected meal.

Great customer service. Don't let the outside looks decieve you. Tiny spot but the best food for great price ! We got the Salmon Katsu, Garlic Chicken and Garlic Shrimp, both plates cane with rice and mac salad(they have other sides, this is just what we chose). Portions are big too !

Small unassuming little eatery. Very popular with the local neighborhood. Steak, guava smoked pork, ahi, fire cracker chicken all great choices. Small sitting area. Unique flair on the local plate lunch.

Good place for local grinds. Great fried chicken. Also, very efficient. Sure, other place may waste your time with a friendly greeting and a smile, but here, it’s all about efficiency. Don’t be fooled though. The lady up front is nice. They get busy during lunch so plan accordingly.

This place is overall very good. I do think that with the amount of customers they get on a daily basis, peaking around lunch time, they definitely deserve a bigger location; this being for the benefit of themselves and their customers, as lines can go out the door.The food is amazing! Delicious, very generous sized portions for a good price. If you are military you benefit from the discount that usually drops the menu price down a $1 or so. Favorite items on the menu have to be the steak, firecracker chicken, and the ahi belly. I tried out one of the poke’s, wasn’t a big fan, but their wide selection of sauces made it taste better.Whether you are traveling to Hawaii for a vacation or a permanent resident, this is a must stop if you are in the area.

The food here is amazing. I almost stole my son's food as it arrived before my own. Hee hee. Great folks who run it too, super friendly. Their green icy is a melon flavor nothing like I've had before. Wonderful. But the meat they make here.. I would come back to Hawaii if only for it
